I’ve lived in Cochrane most of my life and have always had a love for animals. I don’t have any pets currently, but am able to get my animal fix at the Cochrane and Area Humane Society, where I walk dogs every week, and at Arrowhead, where I can see and interact with all kinds of animals.

I started as a volunteer here, and was extremely happy to later accept a position as a technical assistant.

The people are great, and I’m learning new things all the time. As a student, working at Arrowhead has really helped me narrow down what I want to do after school, and I now know that I’d like to pursue veterinary medicine.

Along with animals, I also love singing, drawing, skiing and hiking.
