I’m originally from Medicine Hat and have since moved to Calgary where I lived for 4 years attending the University of Calgary for my bachelors of science degree in kinesiology. I recently moved to Cochrane and I’ve loved being able to explore my passion of animal care through working at the Cochrane and Area Humane Society as well as a Technician’s Assistant at Arrowhead Vet Centre.
I am currently in my final semester of my BSc and I’m looking forward to my career in rehabilitation therapy with clinical populations. Animals have, and always will be, one of my main passions in life and finding such an amazing place to work at and gain valuable knowledge has been incredible. The AVC family is incredible and I’m so thankful to be a part of it each day making a difference for the animals.
In my free time I enjoy reading, doing yoga, and spending time in the mountains. I also have a betta fish named Malakai who keeps me company and, in the future, I plan on getting at least one dog of my own.
