When I was a child, I enjoyed playing around my grandparents’ dairy farms in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec. I always loved being surrounded by animals, especially cats. After graduating high school, I moved to Montreal to study Science of Agriculture with a major in Animal Science, and as a result, obtained my Professional Agrologist certification.
I started my career at a dog and cat dry food manufacturer’s R&D department and later on, moved to a major agricultural retail group as a nutritional formulator conceiving swine, dairy cattle and poultry feeds. I relocated to Alberta with my husband Stephan in October 2008 for the love of the stunning Rocky Mountains.
Once I spent my first winter as a snowboard instructor, I worked for an agricultural crop protection company in Calgary where I learned all about western Canadian agriculture.
After living in Canmore for 5 years, we moved to beautiful Cochrane in 2013. Missing the close contact with animals, I volunteered at the Cochrane and Area Humane Society and decided to re-orient my career.
Today, I am very fortunate to be part of the Arrowhead Veterinary Centre team as an animal technician. I am currently studying to become a registered veterinary technician and gaining precious knowledge while working within this remarkable team.
Stephan and I share our home with our adorable dog Prusik, and we enjoy the outdoors doing rock climbing, snowboarding, mountain biking, camping and hiking.
